Each toss of three coins forms one line, starting at the bottom.
Solid = yang · Broken = yin · Gold + change mark = changing line
How your reading works
The three-coin method
Each coin receives 2 or 3 with equal probability. Three values give 6, 7, 8 or 9. Six tosses build the hexagram from the bottom upward. Totals of 6 and 9 are changing lines; 7 and 8 remain stable.
A lens for reflection
All 64 hexagrams use the King Wen sequence. The text offers original, concise reflections on their themes, with a lens for your chosen topic. Your question is kept on this page; it is not sent for AI analysis. Readings do not measure luck or predict events.
Understanding change
Changing yin (6) becomes yang; changing yang (9) becomes yin. This produces the relating hexagram, another perspective rather than a promised future. This app identifies changing lines but does not include the 384 individual classical line readings.
